The C.A.R.E. Foundation is the beneficiary of the Megaplex Charity Auction. They are a small non-profit 501(c)(3) organization made up of volunteers concerned about the environment and wildlife conservation.

Currently there are more than fifty animals on the grounds. A few were chosen and specially hand raised for the specific purpose of ducation in schools.

Many were abandoned, unwanted, abused, and neglected ex-pets. In addition to the daily maintenance provided, the volunteers also conduct wildlife educational programs in public forums.

They will be giving a presentation during the convention. This will include a live encounter with some of the animals from their facility. The star of this show will be Kacha, a Florida Panther, and opportunities to take a photo with him will be available. The Charity Auction will commence following C.A.R.E's presentation. Dr. Samuel "Uncle Kage" Conway has graciously agreed to conduct the auction.

The C.A.R.E. Foundation was established to:

* Provide a safe and permanent home for all types of animals in need, including abandoned pets.
* Educate the public about current environmental issues relating to threatened and endangered habitats and species.
* Educate the public about the interactions of the animals and the environment in which they live.
* Educate and help dispel common myths about some of these wondrous creatures that inhabit our earth.
