1/8/2002--
The Staff of PawPet Megaplex requests your patience as we work hard to get
the critical structures in place.

Our first staff meeting took place on Saturday, 1/5/2002. Pawpet Live Experience, Inc.
incorporated on Tuesday1/8/2002. Hotel arrangements are our present priority, and
con program planning is ongoing. Our security policy has been updated, and
may be revised again during board approval. Final versions of all policies
will be posted in their entirety to the Megaplex mailing list. Additional
announcements will be issued as we reach other major milestones.

The MegaPlex website, while very much our convention's "face" to the world,
is still being developed. Many of the pages are working drafts, subject to
change. We apologize for any confusion this may be causing. In a perfect
world, the website would have been finished before the con announcement, but
unfortunately, the constraints of time did not allow it. We have some more
artwork coming and many of the forms and policies are under review. The
website will be continually updated as new information becomes available.

Thank you for your understanding.

1/7/2002--
We understand that there's a lot of miscommunication and misinformation
about an event that has been planned for the weekend of March 8 - 10. The
event is called the Pawpet MegaPlex.

This event came into being because another convention, for which people
had already made travel arrangements, was cancelled. We felt that it
would be nice to provide "something" for those who had already committed
to being in Orlando in that time frame. A number of people have expressed
concern over any possibility of fracturing or alienating groups of
individuals. This is simply not the case. The event was to be promoted
as an entertainment venue with live shows, and because it was being put
together in such a short time frame, it was decided to make it as neutral
in description as possible. Many people have said that they felt that
this was an attempt to disassociate with certain factions. Again, this
is not the case.

Funday Pawpet Show is neither financially nor operationally linked to the
Pawpet MegaPlex or any other conventions. They are simply a guest at many
conventions and events. While members of the FPS are board members of
PLEx Inc. (a not for profit corporation), their operational decisions for
Pawpet MegaPlex are independent of anything that happens on the Funday
Pawpet Show.

If anyone has any concerns or questions regarding previous convention
arrangements, they should forward these concerns to that convention's
chairman.
